Robert Hart
Chief Executive Officer

Prior to founding FutureFuel Renewables, Robert worked in the construction industry for over two decades (both in the UK and internationally) and is qualified to the highest national level in Occupational Health and Safety. He has been the linchpin, from inception to completion, in the build and delivery of our processing and generating facilities at Kingsnorth in Kent. He has navigated FutureFuel through the complex process of planning, build and permit applications with governing bodies including Ofgem and UK Power Networks. His skills and dedication have culminated in the successful delivery and ongoing profitable management of our renewable energy power plants.

Mike O'lone
Director of Environment & Sustainability

Michael spent much of his early career working in the corporate sector supporting the commercial viability of large scale construction projects. He later became a London black taxi driver, where he gained knowledge of air quality regulation first hand. He is now an advocate for renewable energy through his not-forprofit project, BioCabby.
Michael represents FutureFuel as a member of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Air Quality and Pollution, and the Environmental Industries Commission. He is a frequent public speaker on environmental and air quality issues.




Tom Bingham
Chairman

Tom is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor who has forged a very successful career in the Marketing sector. Working with some of the world’s largest brands including Google and Coca-Cola, he built and ran his own brand consulting business, The Button Group, which he successfully sold to a NASDAQ listed company in 2006.
With exceptional business acumen and knowledge of engaging with consumers and clients alike, Tom brings a depth of experience to the FutureFuel team. Tom provides the strategic direction for FutureFuel, and specialises in regulation. His frequent dealings with Parliament, government, investors and the media reflect his expertise in the energy and technology sector.

Pat Connor
Operations Director

Pat joined FutureFuel in 2018 and has immediately added value to the senior management team in his role as Operations Director. Pat brings a wealth of knowledge and experience is well known in the construction industry as a shift and site manager on large infrastructure projects such as the Channel Tunnel, the Jubilee Line, Crossrail, Bahrain Airport and Hinckley Point C Nuclear Plant. Pat now manages all aspects of our operational facilities and sites.







Liam Ray
Chief Investment Officer

Liam has incisive knowledge of the UK’s SME business market across various sectors including energy and recruitment, having worked with several blue chip companies in the finance, accountancy and fast-moving consumer goods industries.
He has also played an integral role in helping start-ups scale and successfully raise millions in capital funds. He remains the Managing Director of an independent brand incubator and brings to the team his significant expertise in this area.



Georgia O'lone
Head of Science & Innovation

Georgia is our Head of Science and Innovation. She has a BSc (Hons) in Forensic Science and was nominated for publication by the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences for work delivered during her groundbreaking dissertation project on the use of forensic entomology in the enhancement of criminal cold case sample analysis.
Georgia leads the FutureFuel team responsible for developing, building and delivering our scientific and laboratory capability on site at the Kingsnorth operational headquarters. Her work drives the quality control of our biodiesel using the BS EN 14214 standard as a minimum. She is also the lead contact on FutureFuel projects with various Universities as we collaborate with their science faculties to produce industry leading, up-to-date biofuels data publications.
